2024 Mini Clubman marks the end: Here’s what you need to know

2024 Mini Clubman – It is the special gentleman among all MINI models thanks to its distinctive design. The MINI Clubman in the Final Edition is now available for purchase for admirers of the distinctive body concept and the recognizable split doors. The edition, which is limited to 1,969 pieces, honours MINI’s contemporary take on the shooting-brake idea.
Introduction
Designer Roy Haynes stated it this way when he created the first Mini Clubman in 1969: “The impression that only ugly things can be functional has disappeared.” Between 1969 and 1981, the remarkable, stylish car made a splash right away because of its distinctive split doors at the back. At that time, the Mini Clubman, a station wagon with a large wheelbase and extended shooting-brake body, dominated the automotive industry.
The MINI Clubman offers a contemporary take on the traditional shooting-brake concept for its 2007 new version. There is only one door on the right side of the car that opens to the rear, providing access to the back. The MINI Clubman expands once more with the third model generation starting in 2015, reaching a length of 4.25 meters, and gets more roomy and comfortable thanks to a wider wheelbase and two full-sized rear side doors.
Most Adaptable
The MINI Clubman continues to be one of the most adaptable MINI models to date, along with the unusual split rear doors. It is simple to load the baggage compartment, which can currently accommodate up to 1,250 litres, thanks to the roomy load opening. The iconic Mini Clubman was first produced in the year that the Final Edition, now limited to 1,969 units, was launched. It combines the distinctive brand tradition with unique design components and strong attributes.

The 131 kW/178 horsepower MINI Cooper S Clubman Final Edition has long stood for comfort, style, and driving dynamics (combined fuel consumption: 6.7-6.3 l/100 km; CO2 emissions combined: 153-143 g/km according to WLTP). It comes in Nanuq White, Enigmatic Black, and Melting Silver as a special edition and maybe had as a Cooper, Cooper S, the corresponding diesel model, or with all-wheel drive. The limited edition refers to the creative legacy of extraordinary skill with appealing embellishments in the colour Shimmer Copper. The model-typical MINI Cooper S Blade and the side scuttles are in the shimmering edition colour, as are the surrounds and the upper third of the radiator grille crossbar.
Exterior

The Final Edition Spoke 2-tone design’s 18-inch light-alloy wheels include a graphic pattern that is also coated in a copper-coloured tinted clear lacquer, giving the colour a sophisticated shimmering depth. The extended body of the original shooting-brake idea is highlighted in the bottom portion of the side doors by MINI-typical slender lines. Additionally, you can find them on the right side of the split doors and the passenger-side hood.
Here, the gleaming “Final Edition” writing and the “1 of 1969” insignia on the side of the C-pillar tastefully designate the special edition. The Union Jack taillights honour the MINI Clubman’s British heritage.
Interior
With various equipment touches, the interior of the MINI Clubman Final Edition highlights the distinctive air of the limited special edition. The comfy sports leather steering wheel in Nappa and the door sill trims with the edition-specific “Final Edition” writing, for instance, already give the edition model a distinctive feel. Dark Maroon covers the cosy MINI Yours leather sports seats with adjustable thigh support and a sewn-in edition badge. An anthracite Piquet fabric insert and blue contrasting stitching fashionably distinguish them.

The dark dashboard trim in the cockpit is the first thing to strike the eye from the central instrument panel. It is framed by harmonizing trim strips in the edition-specific colours Sage Green Dark and Shimmer Copper. A “1 of 1969” logo on the trim on the passenger side also serves to emphasize the exclusivity of the MINI Clubman Final Edition inside. The floor mats and keycap of it feature the same logo and graphic typography, respectively.
Features
An 8.8-inch touch display in the central instrument, the MINI Online digital service, Remote Services, and smartphone integration for utilizing Apple CarPlay and other apps via the vehicle’s management system are all included in the Connected Media standard equipment. The most recent version of the MINI control system enhances the possibilities for quick and simple operation of the vehicle’s functions, audio program, communication, navigation, and apps.
The MINI Clubman Final Edition’s 1,969 units created let MINI enthusiasts get to know the exceptional gentleman.
