Alfa Romeo Periscopica : Aditya Narayan
This vehicle is designed as a tribute to Alfa Romeo’s 111th birthday. The design pays homage to the beautiful Alfa Romeo prototype race cars of the 1960s, especially the 1967 Tipo 33 Periscopica.
The exterior is characterized by simple, flowing volumes, and punctuated by technical details such as the headlamps and tail lamps. The mid-mounted air intake, or “Periscopica” is celebrated and emphasized.
The interior takes a much more playful direction, inspired by the bold colors and simple shapes of 1960’s Italian product design – cheeky yet functional!
