The previous 2.6-litre Mercedes-Benz common rail, direct injection, turbocharged diesel engine is still used in the new Force Gurkha. However, it has been revised to meet the current BS6 emissions standards. In addition, the Force Gurkha’s 44 powertrain and water wading capacity remain the same, at 700 millimetres.
