AMG Designer Exterior (m/f/d): AMG IS HIRING
Location: Affalterbach near Stuttgart
WHAT TASKS AWAIT YOU:
- Creation of design drafts for exterior and interior design in the automotive sector according to the design strategy and CI
- Use of 2D display techniques (freehand drawing, Photoshop) and use of 3D display techniques (Autodesk Studio Tools)
- Supervision of the design process from the sketch to CAD representations to the supervision of 1:1 models
- Development of detailed individual solutions and participation in strategic concepts for the design strategy of Mercedes-AMG
- Development of solution drafts taking into account functional, material, manufacturing and economic aspects and coordination with the responsible interfaces
- Accompaniment of constructive investigations into the function, arrangement and design of the products
WHAT DO THEY EXPECT FROM YOU:
- Completed studies as a graduate designer in the field of automotive, transportation design or comparable training
- Several years of professional experience in automotive design, preferably in the exterior
- Sound knowledge of display techniques such as Photoshop, PowerPoint, Autodesk Studio Tools etc.
- A high level of creativity, communication skills, personal responsibility, teamwork, commitment and willingness to continue training are required
- Construction, process and material knowledge are required.
