Audi Avenue : Rohit Dhiman

AUDI AVENUE, follows the ongoing design language of Audi of having strong but simplified surfaces but a step ahead and is based on the wheelbase of Audi A3 2020. The concept expresses the extraction of a smooth and stretched surface from the folded and flipped chiseled surfaces that folds the light as one comes out of the other.

Audi is one of the most efficient car makers that expresses quality in complexity. The unique combination of chiseled and smooth surfaces expresses the technological advancement that Audi has achieved over the years in surface construction with quality. The front face follows the same philosophy as the grille stretches from one corner to the other giving it a wider and sleeker expression keeping the Audi essence.

At the rear, the lower bumper slab pushes the sculpture outside stretching the flushed surface which gives the design more surface area near ground that makes it look low slung and more spread on the ground.

The strong surfaces on the side, wider grille at the front and solid stretched rear express the authoritative character of the form that Audi stands out with. The character that shows the advancement of surface construction and technology at the same time. The overall design depicts where we can direct the design philosophy of Audi.

About Designer

Rohit Dhiman is an Exterior Designer at Nissan Motor Corp. based in India since 2017. He has done his Master’s in Transportation Design from IAAD Italy followed by a thesis internship at Pininfarina. Before that he has been a mechanical engineer as well. At Nissan he has been a part of the newly launched Nissan Magnite design team. The product is originally designed and dedicated to Indian market and now spreading across Asia.
