Geely galaxy – Geely Auto Group (Geely Auto) held a flagship event in Hangzhou to formally introduce a new high-end electrified product line, Geely Galaxy.

Introduction

The Geely Auto Looks to Geely Galaxy for Electric Futurealaxy L7 long-range PHEV SUV, the first model in the Geely Galaxy line, and the “Galaxy Light,” a fully electric concept car, were both revealed. Geely Auto’s global car development skills are integrated into the Geely Galaxy series to provide end users with the best intelligent and electrified vehicles available. The product line includes high-efficiency, long-range plug-in hybrids, and pure electric vehicles. In addition to E-CMA, Geely Galaxy products will use a specific smart electrified design for their long-range hybrid product line.

A futuristic new design language developed especially for the smart electrified model range has also been incorporated into the Geely Galaxy line.

Seven new Geely galaxy products

Within the next two years, Geely Galaxy is anticipated to release seven new car models. The Galaxy L7 SUV and L6 sedan, which start shipping in the second and third quarters of 2023, are two of the intended four long-range hybrid-electric models that will make up the seven new products that are expected to be released. The first Galaxy E8, which will be part of the pure Galaxy E line, will be delivered in the fourth quarter of 2023.

The hybrid powertrain on the upcoming Geely Galaxy L7 SUV model allows the vehicle to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in 7.5 seconds and achieve a top speed of 200 km/h. The long-range hybrid model’s real-world fuel consumption has been tested to reach 5.23L/100km, enabling the Galaxy L7 to travel 1370 km on a single tank of fuel while operating in hybrid mode.

The pure electric battery range will be announced in due time.

THE BRAINS – GALAXY N-Operating System

The new Galaxy N-Operating System makes the Galaxy line the smartest car on the road. The brand-securing new operating system was created following Geely Auto’s Smart Geely 2025 strategy, which places a strong emphasis on internally developed chips, operating systems, clever cloud computing, and satellite networks. The Galaxy N OS enables its models to have the fastest system startup and reaction time in their class, taking just 0.5 seconds to reach a ready operational state. This is made possible by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8155 vehicle chip.

The introduction of Geely Auto’s Galaxy series not only demonstrates the most recent technological developments made by the business, but also once more raises the bar for the sector and provides customers with safer, wiser, and electrified experiences.
