Mahindra has unveiled a new logo for its SUV line. In addition to the new logo, dealerships and service facilities across India will have a new look because of it. Twin Peaks logo will debut on the next XUV700 Commercial and farm sectors will continue to utilise the present ‘Road Ahead’ emblem.

In addition to the new logo, Mahindra & Mahindra today presented its new visual identity for its SUV line-up. In keeping with the company’s mission to build elegant and authentic SUVs, the company’s new visual identity reflects that mission well. Through a digital (see the brand film here) and television campaign, the company will express its new brand identity. Naseeruddin Shah and Ehsaan-Loy have lent their tremendous voices and soul-stirring melodies to this initiative.

Mahindra’s Design Team created a whole new brand concept, which represents the company’s readiness to adapt to a new world order. Mahindra’s SUV portfolio is undergoing a strategic transition, which is reflected in the new visual identity where they are laying the foundation for a new universe of real SUVs. An entirely new decor palette will be used at Mahindra Automotive passenger car dealerships, with hues that convey aggressiveness and agility as well as a collaborative atmosphere. Primary colour seems to be charcoal with grey and red are accent colours.

They have combined two extremes in the new graphic identity: delicate parts and harsh shapes. The Mahindra brand has developed over the past seven decades in its own unique way. The company’s goal is to continue to produce appealing cars that enable people to explore the unthinkable.

Pratap Bose, EVP and Chief Design Officer, M&M Ltd. said, “The idea behind visual identity change is to express that liberating feeling, that you can go where you want, when you want – in complete style, control and security, taking your world with you. It brings a fresh dynamism as an exciting new era unfolds. The 2M’s within the logo symbolise an expansive and exciting future which is based on a solid heritage.”
