New Range Rover : Modernist Design
“The New Range Rover is a superb manifestation of our vision to create the world’s most desirable luxury vehicles, for the most discerning of customers. It writes the next chapter in the unique story of pioneering innovation that has been a Range Rover hallmark for more than 50 years.”
Thierry Bolloré, Chief Executive Officer, Jaguar Land Rover.

The lowering roofline, robust waistline – with its horizontal focus – and lower rising sill of the New Range Rover can be traced back through the centuries. The short front overhang, formal front end, upright windscreen, and unique boat tail rear, which tapers in plan view, are all crucial aspects in defining Range Rover’s proportions and expressing its unrivalled presence.

With a contemporary interpretation of Land Rover’s signature profile, the fifth-generation luxury SUV takes Land Rover’s modernist design philosophy to the next level, creating an outstanding design statement. It continues to set the standard, infusing Land Rover’s next flagship with astounding modernity, artistic beauty, and luxury.
“It is possible to respect your DNA and still project forwards – and that is what we have done. The modernist nature of our design philosophy doesn’t follow fashion or trend. It’s free from superfluous detail, resulting in a form which speaks to modernity, yet is full of charm and delivers new levels of emotional engagement. The new Range Rover is quite simply the most desirable ever created.”
Prof Gerry McGovern OBE, Chief Creative Officer, Jaguar Land Rover.

The lowering roofline, strong waistline, and rising sill line are three lines that can be traced back through generations to identify the New Range Rover. These distinguishing elements combine with a short front overhang and a redesigned boat tail rear – complete with handy split tailgate – to create an exquisite appearance that expresses Range Rover’s unrivalled presence.

Thanks to a specifically built hidden waist finisher, the rounded edge of the door meets the glass in a simple, clean finish, showcasing Land Rover’s attention to detail. To give the impression that the vehicle was milled from solid, the design-enabling technology is combined with flush glazing, hidden-until-lit lighting, and fine detailing.

The refined surfaces give the vehicle a clean, contemporary appearance while also contributing to a drag coefficient of 0.30, making it the world’s most aerodynamically efficient premium SUV

The SV variant embodies Range Rover luxury and customization while also showing superb craftsmanship. Dazzling plated metals, smooth ceramics, intricate mosaic marquetry, and a choice of high-grade leathers or sustainable non-leather Ultrafabrics(TM) are among the materials used for special Range Rover SV design elements. Additional design themes include SV Serenity and SV Intrepid, which have two-tone front-to-back contrasting interior colorways, and the opulent four-seat SV Signature Suite, which has a functional Club Table and refrigerator that can be deployed electrically.

The Revolutionary Range Rover is the first model to feature Land Rover’s new flexible Modular Longitudinal Architecture, which combines advanced technology with modern elegance to provide unparalleled refinement for every occupant.
Interior

The lavish interior is supported by current, intuitive, and relevant technology that are meant to function in harmony with the best materials and wellness advances to provide a peaceful sanctuary for all occupants, making every journey an unforgettable experience.

The New Range Rover’s unrivalled comfort and refinement is aided by a number of innovative technology. The cabin is one of the quietest on the road thanks to new third-generation Active Noise Cancellation4 technology. It takes advantage of the vehicle’s silent and sealed body architecture by using microphones on the outside and headrest speakers on the inside to create personal quiet zones for passengers, similar to high-end active noise cancelling headphones.

With Amazon Alexa built-in, the New Range Rover delivers easy voice control. Customers can control everything from favorite infotainment features and music track selection to navigation and phone contacts using natural voice commands, all while keeping their hands on the wheel and their eyes on the road.

The New Range Rover’s environmental effect is reduced not just via the use of efficient powertrains, but also through the use of innovative materials and technologies. A KvadratTM remix wool blend fabric, for example, will be available as a leather-free inside alternative. Its wool blend is warm and cozy, making it the ideal complement to the technical UltrafabricsTM material, which has all of the tactile attributes of leather but is 30% lighter and emits a quarter of the CO2.

The all-new fifth-generation Range Rover was designed, developed, and engineered in the United Kingdom, and will be produced exclusively on a new state-of-the-art production line at Land Rover’s Solihull Manufacturing Facility — the historic home of Range Rover. With assembly of efficient mild-hybrid, plug-in hybrid, and pure-electric versions of the New Range Rover on the same line, the plant’s investment will drive improved quality.
The New Range Rover is the most desired vehicle ever produced, and it will remain the must-have luxury SUV across the world.
