NEXA Experience : Pranay Ratan

The project brief is for Suzuki, to create the next NEXA Experience. NEXA was created to offer a more personalized and pampered experience to its customers. The project is targeted to 2027 where the user is more focused on mental peace and comfort. The idea was inspired by gravity, a drop-like effect that is created on a surface with a heavy mass in the center. Taking that as an inspiration, a rather minimal yet serene space was created. The inclusion of flora and white spaces creates a spacious interior.

It is majorly a chauffeur-driven car with a back seat infotainment unit behind each seat. The driver has an unobstructed view over the IP and a focused infotainment unit. The front seat structure is inspired by “Baymax” which visually is a soft translucent form with a sturdy skeleton inside as showcased in the sketches. We have massage seats in the market but how much more personalized that experience can be.
The internal structure of the seat is not just for rigidity, but it interacts with the user. In case the car notices the driver is in a state of anxiety or panic, the seat structure gently warms up and subtly hugs the driver, making them feel secure with a personal touch.
The rear seats are designed to be an absolute lounge space. The floor console cleverly stores 2 bottles of wine (or any poison of your choice) which is accessible by the rear passengers. They have personal entertainment units which are attached at the back of the front seats. Overall the space is designed to look visually lightweight. The fabric used is recycled plastic which is an attempt towards environmental safety.
