A statement to future and innovation.

Hyundai’s new MPV series, STARIA, features a futuristic and iconic style. STARIA’s appearance is based thoroughly on a new approach to design methodology for future potency that progresses in the design process with the interior interest to the exterior expansion. This considers Hyundai’s recent shifts in consumer needs to prioritize interior space development.

STARIA’s exterior represents the futuristic, pure, and streamlined silhouette, defined by a fluid curve running in and out, inspired by illumination of Halo on Earth’s horizon during sunrise when viewed from space. STARIA’s simplistic front view is adorned with horizontally placed daytime running lights (DRLs) and a positioning lamp that together stretch across the width of the vehicle. Bold and Wide with uniquely patterned radiator grille creates an instantly recognizable façade. The sophisticated space-age appearance is further noticed in low-set headlamps positioned on each side of the grille. The sense of openness and overall visibility is expanded by lowered beltlines. Inspired by the traditional Korean architectural style known as hanok.

STARIA Premium extraordinarily adds the exclusive design cues for luxurious visual appearance. The Premium radiator grille design in the form of a unique mesh pattern, the chrome line around the cube-type, full-LED headlamps as well as the tinted brass chrome applied to the Hyundai emblem on the front, wheels, side mirrors and door handles highlight the vehicle’s sophisticated and high-end styling. The rear bumper is lowered to help passengers easily load and unload the cargo. The Hyundai’s unique Parametric Pixel design and lamp-shape garnish on top provides high-end connected feeling.

Luxury with comfort functions

The high-tech look of the driver-focused cockpit with a 10.25-inch front display screen, touch-based center fascia and a button-type electronic shift lever are extremely well-placed designs.Unobstructed view for the driver by placing a digital cluster on top of the dashboard, good availability of storage space on top of the overhead console, bottom of the cluster, and top and bottom of the center fascia, well-designed center console box equipped with cup holders, USB ports and additional storage space for both driver and passengers are all examples of highly efficient design.

The second-row premium relaxation seats in the 7-seater high-end model include a one-touch relaxation mode that automatically reclines to a seat posture that evenly distributes the passenger’s weight and promotes overall body balance. The second-row seats in the 9-seater STARIA Premium can swivel 180 degrees to face passengers in the third row. This creates a new mode of transportation in which passengers can converse while gazing at each other. The 64-color ambient mood lamp, which is included with all STARIA Premium models, creates a unique interior ambience. Harmonious direct and indirect lighting can be used to enhance the premium sense of the cockpit, floor console, door, and baggage trims.
