The Genesis Y Concept Design Project represents a groundbreaking venture into the future of automotive design, emerging as a visionary creation of the designer even before starting academic studies at Pforzheim. This ambitious project not only showcases the designer's extraordinary creativity but also serves as a testament to their ability to envision and shape the evolution of automotive aesthetics.

The Genesis Y Concept Design Project is all about thinking outside the box. Instead of sticking to the usual way things are done, the designer decided to give a fresh and bold look to Genesis' special two-line design. He took these well-known features and brought them to a whole new level, breaking the rules of what's normal in design and making something innovative and stylish. The outcome is a design that goes beyond the usual, smoothly combining modern elegance with the latest in scientific advancements.

Genesis' distinctive two-line design elements

The Genesis Y Concept Design Project is like giving a fresh and exciting makeover to Genesis' special two-line design that makes their cars easily recognizable. The exterior of the Genesis Y concept car looks cool. It's a mix of smooth curves and sharp angles, making it stand out and look modern. This design brings together the classic elegance of curved shapes with the high-tech feel of angular lines.

One interesting part of the design is how they've reimagined the two lines on the car. These lines gracefully go around the vehicle, giving a nod to the brand's history and identity. It's like a connection between the old days and what's coming next. They're not just sticking to the past; they're showing that Genesis is moving forward and shaping the future of how cars will look.

But the Genesis Y isn't just about aesthetics; it's an electric hypercar that's super powerful and sporty. The designer has used a new design style to explore the mix of luxury and sportiness. The designer starts with sketches to try out new shapes and ideas, making sure it still looks like a Genesis. This way, he makes sure to not just make a cool-looking car; but rather make a car that's different and exciting, keeping the Genesis identity alive while also being super innovative.

Theme A and Theme B explore innovative approaches to the interpretation of Genesis' two-line design elements

Theme A is all about using two lines to shape how the car looks. These lines aren't just still; they move across the whole car, giving it a sporty and beautiful shape. This makes the car look cool and modern while also respecting its history. The two lines aren't stuck in one place; they're like a symbol of what makes Genesis special. They don't just add to the design; they show the heart of what Genesis is about. This theme wants to create a look that mixes tradition and new ideas, showing that Genesis is keeping up with the times.

Theme B takes inspiration from a triangle shape. It uses two separate parts to create the special lines that define Genesis. In this theme, they want to draw attention to the side of the car, especially the big back part called the rear fender. This design choice is a way to highlight what makes Genesis different in an eye-catching way.

The triangle shape in Theme B adds a feeling of movement to how the car looks. The two lines from this inspiration help the whole design flow smoothly, making the car look interesting and special. Giving extra attention to the back part of the car, the rear fender, is a way to show off what makes Genesis cars stand out.

In the top view studies, the designer looked closely at how to use two lines on the car's roof to make it look more three-dimensional. He wanted to understand how the design could change and get better. He got the idea from a shape resembling a pentagon. In these studies, the designer aimed to make the car look elegant and unique by adding fine details to the surface and incorporating long lines on the windows.

To make the car look even more luxurious, the designer paid a lot of attention to the details on the surface. The long lines on the windows not only made the car look good but also gave it a modern and sleek appearance. These top-view studies were super important in deciding how the final design should look. He made sure the car not only looked nice but also stayed true to what people knew about the brand.

The colour adds a touch of luxury

Talking about colours, the chosen colour scheme for the car has two main colours inspired by a masked face and champagne. This mix makes the car look fancy and stylish. He added a bright colour at the bottom to give it a sporty touch, making it not just luxurious but also a bit dynamic. To highlight the car's shape, the designer used black and chrome on the windows, making it easy to see the car's profile. This mix of colours aims to make the car look attractive and show that it's both fancy and sporty, sticking to what the brand is all about.

The rear of the car is inspired by the wing and shield shape in the Genesis logo. The centre of the back is made of gathered glass, drawing attention to the wide back part of the car called the rear fender. This makes the car look strong and steady. The design at the back not only connects with the brand's logo but also completes the whole look of the car. The focus on the wing and shield shape brings a bit of the brand's identity to the back, making it look put together and easy to recognize.

Conclusion

In conclusion, the Genesis Y Concept Design Project reflects not only a passion for automotive design but also embodies the forward-thinking ethos of Genesis. This electric hypercar, with its fusion of luxury and sportiness, paves the way for a new chapter in automotive excellence, symbolizing the brand's commitment to innovative design. As the journey continues, the Genesis Y concept sets the stage for endless possibilities, pushing the boundaries of creativity and technology in the pursuit of automotive design perfection.
