ZID Moped : Alexander Yamaev

The ZID moped project is a completely proactive project, conceived as a proposal to solve the problem of movement in large cities such as Moscow, London, etc. To make the project more interesting and more recognizable, the ZID brand (known in the CIS countries) was chosen.

The basic idea is a fully electric, retro-futuristic moped for one person, capable of traveling up to 100 km on a single charge. This is enough to travel to and from work on it. In terms of style, the body is simple and geometric as possible, so that the geometry would support dynamics and simplicity at the same time. For movement, a motor-wheel is used, the brakes are ordinary, like on a motorcycle. Power is approximately 3-4 kW. The body is completely plastic, the frame is tubular, welded.

This is an initiative project for a plant that once produced ZID motorcycles in Russia. We love their retro style, so the idea came up to do something retro futuristic. The scooter is completely electric, the drive is a wheel motor, for one person. The maximum speed is up to 60 km / h. For all the futuristic appearance, there are manual controls, such as headlights. At the same time, the scooter can connect to the phone and display all data on charge and speed on it.
