In Toyota's Woven City, transportation is more than just getting from one place to another. It becomes a vital part of city life, helping people connect, reducing environmental impact, and improving quality of life. The city features a fleet of electric and hydrogen-powered vehicles that showcase top automotive technology. These vehicles are built for great performance and a sustainable future. One unique feature is hydrogen recycling into drinkable water through an advanced filtration system, creating a calm and productive environment for everyone.

Innovative Ride-Share Experience

The Woven City’s ride-share system offers a unique blend of spaces within each vehicle. The front space emphasizes connectivity between the user and the vehicle, promoting mental well-being and creating an inviting atmosphere for social gatherings. This area is perfect for couples and friends, offering a luxurious setting for festive occasions. Meanwhile, the rear space focuses on calmness and practicality, with cutting-edge designs, soft natural lighting, and ample storage. An additional table and a majestic water fountain enhance productivity and comfort, making it ideal for daily use and work-related travel. There is plenty of space to store their belongings and feel at home in this unique ride-share system of the future. 

The design of this futuristic vehicle leverages advanced tools such as Gravity Sketch and Unreal Engine. As a Gravity Sketch Ambassador, the designer could model the vehicle at full scale, making real-time adjustments to refine the design. This tool facilitated the creation of a highly detailed and innovative vehicle concept. Unreal Engine played a pivotal role in achieving high-end visualizations, bringing the concept to life with stunning realism and detail, ensuring the vehicle's aesthetic and functional excellence.

Loïc Chauvin is a 21-year-old automotive designer and concept artist from Paris, France. He is based in Detroit, MI and currently finishing his final college degree in automotive design at Lawrence Technological University. With core foundational values in design principles and a keen eye for details, Loïc strives to push the boundaries of conventional automotive aesthetics towards a more unique approach. 

His work characterizes a harmonious blend of form and functions while focusing on bringing forth the user experience, sustainability, and cutting-edge technology.
