The Goodwood Festival of Speed is one of the biggest events for car lovers. It’s a great chance to see famous cars and drivers in action, along with the newest cars from the industry. 2024 Goodwood Festival of Speed is from Thursday, July 11 to Sunday, July 14, and it looks like it’s going to be an amazing weekend. Here's a look at all the new cars you can see at this year's Goodwood Festival of Speed.
Alfa Romeo 33 Stradale
The Alfa Romeo 33 Stradale created a big buzz when it was revealed in August 2023. You’ll get a fantastic chance to see this stunning car up close when it makes its first public appearance in the UK at the 2024 Festival of Speed. This will be the first time it's been seen outside of Italy!

We already knew the 33 Stradale is a beautiful car, but now it has an award to prove it. It won the Design Concept Award at the Concorso di Eleganza di Villa d’Este last month. Only 33 of these cars will ever be made, so seeing one in person is a rare treat. The 33 Stradale will be on display throughout the Festival of Speed near the Supercar Paddock. Make sure to take a closer look at this remarkable vehicle.
Alfa Romeo Junior
On July 11, the all-electric Alfa Romeo Junior will make its first public debut at the 2024 Goodwood Festival of Speed. Despite its images, the Junior is smaller than it seems, with the driver sitting just 2.5cm higher than in the old Giulietta hatchback. So, calling it a crossover is a bit of a stretch. The Junior looks much better in person than in photos. Its nose is higher and more bluff compared to the Giulietta, but it includes some design features from the stunning 33 Stradale, like the bonnet lines.

The rear view is the most striking part of the Junior. It features an arced, full-width light bar that highlights the cut-off design of the boot. Inside, the Alfa Romeo Junior has a dark but pleasant interior. You might recognize some elements from other Stellantis vehicles, like the screen and its surround, which look similar to those in some DS cars. However, there are enough unique Alfa Romeo touches to make it feel special.
Aston Martin Valiant
The Aston Martin Valiant is a rare supercar that you probably won't see very often. This newly revealed car will make its dynamic debut at the Festival of Speed, driven by none other than two-time Formula 1 world champion Fernando Alonso.

The design of the Aston Martin Valiant is striking, and its powerful 5.2-litre twin-turbo V12 engine with 745PS (547kW) will echo through the Goodwood Estate as it races up the Hill on Friday, July 12, as part of the Supercar Run. This extreme coupe designed for just 38 lucky customers.
Aston Martin DBX707
Aston Martin's 193mph SUV, the DBX707, will be featured in the First Glance section, giving attendees their first look at the brand-new interior. This updated interior boasts high-definition infotainment screens with Pure Black technology, replacing the outdated Mercedes screens from the old DBX.

As expected, the cabin quality of this Aston Martin is exceptional. The refreshed interior includes leather accented with wood veneers and chrome. You can choose from new trim options like Gloss Smoked Oak, Ziricote wood, piano black, and carbon fibre. The performance of the DBX707 remains largely the same, with minor updates to the suspension settings.
BMW M4
BMW is making a big impression at the 2024 Festival of Speed, bringing two very different cars for their First Glance showcase. The first is the new M4 CS, making its UK debut as it takes to the Goodwood Hill for the first time on Thursday, July 11.

The latest version of the BMW M4 CS is faster and lighter than ever before. It can go from 0 to 62mph in just 3.4 seconds and from 0 to 124mph in 11.1 seconds, with a top speed of 188mph. This impressive performance makes the new M4 CS one of the highlights of the festival.
BMW M5
BMW M has made some exciting updates in recent years, and the new M5 is no exception. At first glance, it might not catch the eye of those who aren’t car enthusiasts. But for those who know, the M5 is unmistakable with its aggressive bumpers, extended wheel arches, side skirts, new M5 badges on the C pillars, and large quad exhausts.

The interior is a sportier version of the standard car. It features a flat-bottomed steering wheel, heavily bolstered sports seats, and an M-specific instrument display. BMW has shown in recent years that it knows how to make even heavy cars handle extremely well, like the M3 and M2.
BMW XM
BMW’s second showcase in the First Glance section is a complete contrast to the M4 CS. It’s the most powerful M car ever made, and you definitely won’t miss it on the Hill. This is the eye-catching BMW XM Label, a 750PS (552kW) performance SUV. It’s powered by a 4.4-litre twin-turbocharged V8 engine paired with an electric motor.

The BMW XM is a unique vehicle, based on the US-built X7 but with its own distinct design, making it the top SUV for BMW. Unlike the M1, the XM has no equivalent in the regular BMW lineup. Some of its design elements, like the illuminated kidney grilles, will eventually appear on other luxury BMW models. The XM is designed more for the US market than Europe and is not meant to be subtle. It has a bold and aggressive look, with geometric intakes, tiny lights, and a massive grille that clearly shows BMW’s latest design style. Other neat features include power domes on the bonnet and LED spotlights above the windscreen.
When the XM roars up the Hill at the 2024 Goodwood Festival of Speed, it’s going to be hard to miss!
BMW X3
The fourth-generation BMW X3 will make its global debut at the Festival of Speed. This new X3 has a bold, fresh look both inside and out and features a heavily updated chassis that promises better handling and comfort.

BMW claims it has the "most powerful six-cylinder in-line petrol engine ever fitted in an M performance model." We're excited to see it in action when the X3 M50 xDrive is revealed at the BMW stand on Thursday, July 11, at 10:30 AM UK time.
Alpine Alpenglow Hy4
The sleek Alpine Alpenglow Hy4 could be one of the most significant projects in Alpine’s history. This hydrogen-powered supercar has evolved from a stunning concept to a dynamic prototype, marking an exciting new chapter in sports cars and motorsport.

The Alpenglow Hy4 is designed with colors and materials inspired by natural elements like fire, water, ice, wind, and water vapor. The car's color transitions from bright red at the front to various shades of blue at the back. Its unique lighting signature showcases the stages of its hydrogen internal combustion engine, which only emits water vapor. Two polymer fuel tanks on either side of the cockpit form a water drop shape, placing the driver at the heart of the machine. This advanced prototype demonstrates Alpine’s commitment to innovative and sustainable sports car technology.
Yangwang U9
BYD's subsidiary Yangwang has been busy creating some fascinating new cars. One of them, the U8, is set to impress in the First Glance section, but the Yangwang U9 is sure to amaze everyone when it takes on the Hill at the Festival of Speed.

As a new brand, Yangwang had the freedom to design the U9 from scratch, without having to follow any existing design language or legacy. This opportunity was perfect for German design star Wolfgang Egger, known for his work on the Alfa Romeo 8C and Audi R8. The U9's design is sleek and aggressive, featuring a large rear wing that generates significant downforce to manage its immense power. We are eagerly anticipating seeing this stunning car in action.
Yangwang U8
Yangwang U8 will be part of the First Glance section at the Festival of Speed. It's a large SUV powered by a quad-motor electric powertrain with a 2.0-litre inline-four-cylinder range extender.

This SUV is massive, measuring 5.3 meters long and over two meters wide, and it weighs a hefty 3,460 kg. It looks big and truly is enormous, making it a standout vehicle at the festival.
BYD Seal U
BYD is quickly becoming a well-known name in the UK. Its early successes in Europe have been widely reported, and its latest model, the Seal U, is set to debut in the First Glance section.

The Seal U is a sleek SUV with an impressive proposed range of 671 miles. It shares some features with the Seal saloon, like the rotating infotainment display. However, unlike the fully electric Seal saloon, the Seal U DM-i is a plug-in hybrid. It has an 18.3kWh battery and is supplemented by a 1.5-litre four-cylinder turbocharged petrol engine. If you haven't seen a BYD up close before, now is the perfect time to check it out, as this brand is poised to make a significant impact in the UK market.
Tesla Cybertruck
Yes, the controversial low-poly truck that everyone loves to hate will be on display at the Goodwood Estate as part of First Glance presented by Heycar. Why isn't it available here yet? Like many American pickup trucks, it wouldn't pass safety tests in the UK, especially those for pedestrian safety. So, it's unlikely to be sold directly by Tesla to UK and European buyers anytime soon. A few might make their way over, but they'll be as rare as Mustangs and Corvettes once were.

Notably, this truck is the first production car to use a 48-volt electrical system, which means less wiring, less weight, and more efficiency. It also features a steer-by-wire system, improving response, manoeuvrability, and adaptability. You can expect some of these innovations in Tesla's available by the end of the decade. But for now, you can enjoy the unique design of this Tesla you can't buy at the 2024 Festival of Speed.
Zenvo Aurora
Danish supercar company Zenvo will bring two versions of its new Aurora supercar to make their public European debuts at the 2024 Festival of Speed. Zenvo is currently undergoing an exciting transformation.

The long-serving TS is nearing the end of its production, with the road-focused GT variant concluding its wild legacy. The future of Zenvo lies with the Aurora, a highly innovative new supercar revealed last year. The Aurora will be available in two versions: Tur, designed for the road, and Agil, aimed at aggressive track performance. Both versions will be on display at Zenvo’s stand, giving attendees a chance to see them up close throughout the weekend.
Zenvo TSR-GT
Zenvo's TSR-GT will also be in action, making its dynamic debut as part of the Supercar Run on the Goodwood Hill. This hypercar, developed from the TSR-S seen at previous Festivals of Speed, delivers over 1,360PS (1,000kW) from its 5.8-litre twin-supercharged V8 engine.

With a potential top speed of 263mph, the TSR-GT is incredibly powerful. To handle this speed, it has an overhauled aerodynamic package, including new wheel covers and drag-reducing enhancements to its carbon-fibre bodywork. This spectacular vehicle is sure to impress at the Festival of Speed.
Pagani Huayra Epitome
The expansive and artisanal works of Horacio Pagani will be showcased like never before at the 2024 Goodwood Festival of Speed. The highlight is the Epitome, the latest creation from Pagani’s exclusive Grandi Complicazioni division. What makes it special? For starters, it has a sleek and elegant design, standing out from many of its predecessors. But the real excitement is that it's the first Huayra in 13 years to feature a manual gearbox.

Distinctive features include custom lighting embedded in the front bumper and a wide, single-piece rear wing reminiscent of the Ferrari F50. The car is finished in all blue carbon, unlike the usual dual-tone Paganis, and boasts a modern tan-trimmed interior.

Hispano Suiza Carmen Sagrera
In recent years at the Goodwood Festival of Speed, we've seen the revival of the historic Hispano Suiza marque. It began in 2022 with the dynamic debut of the Hispano Suiza Carmen on the famous Hill, followed by the exclusive Carmen Boulogne a year later. Now, for its third year, Hispano Suiza is back with the new Carmen Sagrera.

It features an elegant ‘stork wing’ protruding from the rear and a more aggressive front end with a large splitter and intricate cooling ducts. The interior has been significantly upgraded with a darker, racier feel and a redesigned centre console.
Ferrari SF90 XX Spider
The Ferrari SF90 XX Spider is possibly the coolest car on the list of Ferraris coming to the 2024 Festival of Speed. This car is a collaboration between Ferrari’s 'Special Version' and 'XX Programme' departments, creating the first-ever road-legal XX machine.

Based on the SF90 Spider, the XX model boosts performance with more power, extreme aerodynamics, and custom software to maximize its potential. Don't miss this car when it makes its dynamic debut on the Hill at the Festival of Speed.
Ferrari SP8
Or perhaps this is the coolest Ferrari at the 2024 Festival of Speed. This unique model could be crafted to exact specifications by a fortunate Ferrari client through the marque’s One-Off program. Based on the Ferrari F8 Spider platform, the SP-8 utilizes its impressive 3.9-liter V8 engine but ditches the retractable roof for an exclusive open-top driving experience. Drawing inspiration from various Ferrari models, it features tail lights from the Roma and classic five-spoke wheels reminiscent of the iconic F40.
